“This result is worth a lot to a team like ours. It was a struggle, but we deserved the win. Lazio might’ve deserved a draw too, but I have to say we were able to play in a different way to usual and soak up pressure. This was a match I was really concerned about.
“We’ve got a few players who will miss Verona due to bans and injuries, but we’ve got the quality to make up for that.”
