Marco Giampaolo was certainly impressed by Napoli, but felt a 5-1 defeat “was harsh.”
The Tuscans had taken the lead against their former Coach, but the Serie A leaders fought back with a vengeance.
“The result was harsh, as for long periods we played on a par with Napoli and had more chances to score,” Giampaolo told Rai Sport.
“We wasted all that hard work at the end and the only thing I can reproach my players for is dropping the intensity late on.

“It’s a pity, because 5-1 looks very different to 2-1 or 3-1 and we could’ve avoided those late goals.”
Napoli are top of the table, two points clear of a Juventus side that has notched up 12 consecutive Serie A victories.
“Napoli have a lot of quality, but Juve are accustomed to winning and therefore know how to handle situations and pressure better.
“These two teams are very different and I think the Scudetto race is between them. Inter? No, Napoli and Juve have something more.”
