“The beauty depends on the result. Nobody will remember the presumed defensive approach against Sassuolo, but everyone will talk about another Scudetto won by Antonio Conte,” Giaccherini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Inter had the same mentality of a small club, as Juventus have often done over the last nine years. If you want to beat the so-called smaller teams, you need to be humble, and it’s unfair to only look at the game against Sassuolo,” Giaccherini said.
“The three points are much more important than the ball possession.
“Conte is not defensively minded. What does it even mean? Does it mean Allegri or Mourinho are defensive-minded? Every coach has his style. Conte’s 3-5-2 system is more like a 3-3-4.”
Conte coached the former winger at Juventus and with Italy national team.
“He is the same coach I saw at Juventus and with the national team. He has different players but the same desire and mentality,” Giaccherini claimed.
“The nice thing about him is that everybody understands his philosophy rapidly. He has personality and charisma. He is a perfectionist, he demands a lot from players, but he gives a lot too.
“I remember my legs were shaking during my first game at the Allianz Stadium. We won 4-0, but I didn’t play a great game.
“The day after the game, Conte sent me a text: ‘Don’t worry, I know it can happen. I know you will give me much more.’ That’s how he is. He can change you with one word.
