Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam says it’s “pleasing” to be linked with big clubs, but that he isn’t paying attention to rumours about his future.
The Algeria international has been linked with Atletico Madrid, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, and today it was reported that his price had been set at €10m.
However, the 24-year-old talked down rumours about an imminent departure and paid homage to former Vesuviani Coach Rafa Benitez.

“Of course it’s pleasing to be linked with great clubs but I don’t pay too much attention to this,” Ghoulam told Algerian outlet Le Buteur.
“I’m not losing my head about this and I’m enjoying my holidays, Napoli is a great club.
“Benitez? I’ve worked with many Coaches, and I have to say I got on very well with him.
“He impressed me, he works a lot on details and is always trying to perfect his work.”
