Ghana have sent home Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari from their World Cup training camp after a fight.
The former Milan teammates are reported by Ghanaian media as having been asked to leave the Black Stars’ team hotel by 8am Brazilian time today.
It is understood that the pair fought two days ago and that when asked for comment on it, Boateng then insulted the Coach, Kwesi Appiah.
Muntari is also alleged to have then ‘assaulted’ a Ghana management committee member yesterday.
As a result of these instances, Appiah is seen as having taken action and expelled the duo from the remainder of Ghana’s World Cup campaign.
The team are in action this evening against Portugal in a game they must win to stand a chance of progressing to the Round of 16.
