“We want to go all the way and win titles. I thank (director of sport Walter) Sabatini, who did everything to bring me here. I chose shirt number 30 because that was the jersey I had when making my professional debut.”
Gerson was particularly happy with another shirt – the Number 10 gifted to him by Francesco Totti.
“It’s the shirt of one of the best Number 10s in the world. Anyone would’ve been happy with a present like that and showed it off with great pride.”
Roma director Mauro Baldissoni also explained that the proposed loan to Frosinone in January was not rejected by the player, but rather the limitations on non-EU players.
