Roma midfielder Gerson has reportedly refused a transfer to Genoa, as Dynamo Moscow offered €13m after his Fiorentina loan spell.
According to both Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia, an agreement had seemed to have been reached between the two clubs for the Brazilian to make the move to Marassi this summer, with youngster Mattia Zennaro heading in the opposite direction.
The deal has collapsed, as the midfielder isn’t convinced by the idea of moving to Liguria, despite the Grifone offering him €1.4m a year in wages.

Meanwhile, Sky claim Dynamo Moscow are in talks for the ex-Brazil U20 star and are prepared to offer €13m for his services.
The Giallorossi signed the Brazilian from Fluminense in 2016 for around €15m, yet he failed to earn a starting role with the capital club, making just 42 appearances over two years.
The 22-year-old spent the season on loan with Fiorentina, where he scored three times in 36 league matches for the Viola.
