Steven Gerrard believes Roma legend Francesco Totti is similar to him – “we play for the people”.
The Giallorossi captain will play his final match for the club against Genoa this Sunday, and the former Liverpool midfielder paid tribute to Er Pupone in a video posted on Roma’s official Twitter page.
“I think he would agree, I play football for the people and to make the people happy,” Gerrard said.
