President Enrico Preziosi is refusing to reveal who will be the Genoa boss for the 2011-12 campaign.

"I've obviously already decided on who will be the Coach for next season, the problem is I can't tell you who it is," he stated to Sky Italia.

"When the right time arrives then I will make it public. His initials? I won't say, but perhaps you'll be surprised…"

The Rossblu are currently bossed by Davide Ballardini, but he is expected to be shown the door at the end of the campaign.

Bologna's Alberto Malesani has been paired with the job, as too have Claudio Ranieri and Siena boss Antonio Conte.

Preziosi added that Varese's Giuseppe Sannino won't get the job, but a lower League candidate is a real possibility.

According to some, former Genoa defender Vincenzo Torrente could be Preziosi's pick after his fine work with little Gubbio. He's just got the minnows promoted to Serie B.
