Genoa have pulled out of their planned friendly against Paris Saint-Germain tomorrow.
The Grifone had been due to face the Ligue 1 giants on Saturday at the Stade de la Source in Orleans.
However, PSG announced this evening that Genoa have withdrawn from the prestigious test match.
It is presumably due to travel restrictions and the concerns over COVID cases.
“It is a decision we made with regret, but it was necessary when considering the new risks we were alerted to over the last few days by the authorities,” read a Genoa statement.
“These are risks that, in the current climate, inevitably come with international travel during the evolution of this pandemic.”
Instead, Paris Saint-Germain will play US Orleans at the Stade de la Source.
