Former Roma and Verona winger Juan Iturbe is close to returning to Serie A with Genoa, states Sky Sport Italia.

Iturbe played in Italy between 2013 and 2017, and first came to prominence with Verona in the 2013-14 season.

He was later bought by Roma in the summer of 2014 to big expectations, considering the Giallorossi beat Juventus to his signature.

However his time in the capital ended on a sour note after a bright start, and the Argentine was sent out on loan to various clubs, including to the Premier League with Bournemouth.
