Genoa have signed Chile international midfielder Pablo Galdames as a free agent after his spell at Velez Sarsfield.
The 24-year-old was out of contract and already had his medical this morning.
He has put pen to paper on a contract with Genoa until June 2024, as also confirmed by Sky Sport Italia.
Galdames had also been approached by newly-promoted Serie A side Salernitana.
He has four senior caps for Chile and his father, also called Pablo Galdames, was a regular in the Chile squad.
