Genoa are reportedly trying to bring Torino outcast Iago Falque back to the Marassi this winter.

The Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolò Schira claims that Enrico Preziosi has contacted the Granata about a possible return for the Spanish winger.

Falque has only played four games for Torino this term and has been linked with an exit from the Grande Torino.

The former Rayo Vallecano player came to Genoa from Tottenham during the summer of 2014 and impressed during his spell with the Rossoblu.

After a short period at Roma, he ended up in Piemonte and has played 108 games contributing 32 goals at Torino.

Genoa have already brought back Mattia Perin and Mattia Destro to the club this winter and Preziosi has allegedly tested the water to get Falque from Torino.

But the report claims they will have competition for the 30-year-old’s signature, as his employer also have requests from his native Spain.
