Genoa had the last laugh after their incredible 2-1 comeback win over Juventus yesterday, poking a little fun at Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

The Rossoblu, who currently sit one point behind 17th place Salernitana, pulled off an unbelievable comeback yesterday against the Bianconeri. Paulo Dybala put Juventus ahead early into the second half and things looked grim for the home side, but an 87th minute goal from Albert Guomundsson and a 96th minute penalty from Domenico Criscito secured all three points.

In celebration, Genoa took the opportunity to make a small joke at the expense of Manchester City, who suffered a painful comeback loss to Real Madrid earlier this week in the Champions League.

With only two games remaining, Genoa are still desperately fighting to avoid the drop to Serie B. Their remaining games are against Napoli and Bologna and it seems as if they’ll need all six points to avoid relegation, which may ultimately prove too tall a task.
