Genoa President Enrico Preziosi warns “nothing is planned” for Diego Perotti to join Roma, including a medical.

There were reports today that the Argentine would undergo a medical with the club on Monday.

“On Sunday Perotti will play at Verona with the Genoa jersey on his back, then Monday is another day,” President Preziosi told laroma24.it.

“The rest is rubbish and that’s all there is to it. Nothing is planned.”

The deal has apparently been done for weeks now, but the change of Coach to Luciano Spalletti and struggles selling Gervinho to China have held up the transfer.

It’s widely believed now that if Gervinho does not leave, only one between Perotti and Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy will join the Giallorossi this month.
