Reports in Belgium say Genoa and another Italian club have bid for KV Mechelen’s young defender Elias Cobbaut.
The 20-year-old can play at left-back or on the left of a back-three, and has been capped for the Belgian Under-21 team.
According to Nieuwsblad, the Grifone and another unnamed Italian team have submitted bids for Cobbaut, who is expected to leave Mechelen following their relegation.
It’s thought he would cost around €2.5m, but there is competition from both Anderlecht and Genk.
