Genoa winger Juan Manuel Vargas is out for at least a month after picking up a new thigh injury on international duty.
The Peruvian has had a series of fitness problems in recent months and the 29-year-old aggravated an old injury.
“Vargas underwent tests with the medical staff after the latest problems he felt during international duty,” read a Genoa statement.

“Vargas underwent tests with the medical staff after the latest problems he felt during international duty,” read a Genoa statement.
“The tests showed a second degree lesion to the left adductor muscle. It is a repeat of his most recent injury.”
It is believed former Fiorentina man Vargas will be out of action for at least a month, if not more.
