Genoa President Enrico Preziosi hinted at a deal to sell Andreas Granqvist to Milan. “We’ll see.”
Preziosi had dinner with Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani this evening after the Serie A 2013-14 fixture list was drawn up.
“Granqvist to Milan? We’ll see,” Preziosi told Sky Sport Italia.
Milan need a defender after Daniele Bonera was ruled out for three months with a fractured knee-cap.
They had been in negotiations to take Matias Silvestre on loan from Inter, but the talks collapsed tonight.
Curiously, Silvestre is now likely to join Genoa instead, freeing up Granqvist to Milan.
“We will not exchange Alberto Gilardino with Roma’s Marco Borriello. We’re staying as we are,” he added.
