Genoa are picking up reinforcements, with Miha Zajc from Fenerbahce, Roma’s Rick Karsdorp, Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia, Lazio’s Milan Badelj and Atalanta full-back Lennart Czyborra.
The Grifone are trying to bolster the squad that narrowly avoided relegation last season, but are doing it on the cheap, as President Enrico Preziosi is still looking to sell the club.
Czyborra arrived this morning for his medical and is expected to complete the transfer on loan with obligation to buy for a total €5.5m.

The German only joined Atalanta in January for €4.6m from Heracles Almelo, but made just one substitute appearance.
According to Sky Sport Italia, a deal is done with Fenerbahce to sign midfielder Zajc on loan with option to buy for €3m.
It would be a return to Serie A for the 26-year-old Slovenia international, who spent two years at Empoli until the €3.5m sale to Fenerbahce in January 2019.
Croatia international midfielder Badelj has returned to Lazio after his Fiorentina loan and Sportitalia claim the 31-year-old could also now be heading to Genoa.
He was previously linked with Torino as well.
Sportitalia had already reported on Ranocchia preparing a return to Genoa, where he spent the early part of his career, ending almost a decade at Inter.
Another potential arrival is Karsdorp, who just came back to Roma after his loan at Feyenoord.
Previously linked with Atalanta, but unable to agree personal terms, the Dutch right-back could move on loan with obligation to buy for €7m once he reaches a certain number of competitive appearances.
