Genoa are now free of Coronavirus after the last of the 17 players who contracted COVID-19 finally tested negative.

There had been 22 cases in total at the club, including five members of staff, starting with goalkeeper Mattia Perin the day before their 6-0 defeat to Napoli.

Since that original test on September 26, another 16 players tested positive, but they have now finally all been given the all-clear.

The last remaining players resumed training today, Darian Males and Petar Brlek.

The list of 17 players who tested positive are Valon Behrami, Francesco Cassata, Lukas Lerager, Federico Marchetti, Filippo Melegoni, Luca Pellegrini, Mattia Perin, Marko Pjaca, Ivan Radovanovic, Lasse Schone, Davide Zappacosta, Mattia Destro, Petar Brlek, Miha Zajc, Davide Biraschi, Domenico Criscito and Darian Males.
