Genoa have struck two late deals with Fatih Karagumruk for Davide Biraschi and Guven Yalcin with hours to spare before the transfer deadline.

The Turkish market will close this evening and their clubs are working to get the final agreements registered in time.

According to Sky Sport Italia, there had been concerns that Biraschi might not manage to resolve the paperwork, so Genoa were prepared to terminate his contract by mutual consent to make him a free agent.

However, that does not seem to be necessary, so Biraschi will be sold to Fatih Karagumruk.

This represents a return to the Turkish side for 29-year-old centre-back Biraschi, who had already been there on loan from January 2022 to June 2023.

He made 48 competitive appearances for Fatih Karagumruk, scoring two goals and providing two assists under coach Andrea Pirlo.

Meanwhile, striker Yalcin has also secured his transfer to Fatih Karagumruk, but that is only on loan.
