Atalanta centre-back Andrea Masiello had offers from Sampdoria and Genoa, but seems to be leaning towards the Grifone.

He turns 34 next month and has dropped down the pecking order at Atalanta this season with only 12 appearances between Serie A, the Champions League and Coppa Italia.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sampdoria and Genoa have both made proposals to Masiello.

Although he is believed to be considering it, his agent is leaning towards Genoa, especially as it would be a return, having already played for them from 2007 to 2008.
