Genoa President Enrico Preziosi is still refusing to officially unveil the name of the new Rossoblu boss.

The Marassi chief was expected to confirm Alberto Malesani in the role today, but he's asked for more time.

"You'll have to wait for a few more days and then I will reveal all," Preziosi told La Repubblica on Monday.

"Gian Piero Gasperini and Davide Ballardini are still under contract with us and their deals will cost us €5m if they don't find a new club.

"That is the reason that I have yet to announce the name of the new tactician."

Malesani yesterday claimed that he would take over from Ballardini at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Delio Rossi has also been associated after he left Palermo recently.
