Genoa have announced Davide Biraschi has suffered a first-degree adductor injury and will be out for three weeks.

The Ligurian side confirmed Biraschi will not be back until after the international break, as the medical examinations have revealed a first-degree injury to the player’s left adductor.

“Genoa CFC announce that Davide Biraschi underwent instrumental tests which showed a first-degree injury to the left long adductor,” the club wrote in a statement.

“The expected recovery time is three weeks.”

Biraschi is thus ruled of the next game against Salernitana on October 2, while he could struggle to be back in time for the next home game against Sassuolo on October 17.
