There are reports Genoa have beaten Napoli to Partizan Belgrade talent Nikola Ninkovic and he’ll be loaned to Chievo.
The 21-year-old Serbian creative midfielder is only under contract until June, so is hot property in the transfer window.
Napoli had been the favourites to snap him up and send him on loan elsewhere.
However, this evening Partizan Belgrade director of sport Ivica Iliev told Mozzart Sport that Genoa were the club.

“A few minutes ago I received a phone call from director general Milos Vazura, who told me of Nikola Ninkovic’s sale to Genoa.
“He will immediately be loaned to Chievo Verona until the end of the season.”
