Fabrizio Romano reports Djed Spence will join Genoa on loan from Tottenham as part of the Radu Dragusin deal, but the Grifone will have an option to sign the English full-back permanently at the end of the season.
Spence was expected to join Genoa on a dry loan deal from Tottenham after the end of his spell at Leeds United, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have now changed the terms of the agreement.
Spence, 23, will move to Marassi on loan with an option to buy for €10m and Tottenham will pay his salary until the end of the season as part of the Dragusin deal.
Dragusin, 21, is expected to undergo his medical in North London on Wednesday as Spurs have matched Bayern Munich’s offer worth €31m including add-ons.
The Bavarians had jumped to the front of the queue for Dragusin on Tuesday evening, but Spurs managed to beat their competition on Wednesday morning, by matching their offer and having already reached an agreement with the ex-Juventus defender.
