Hannes Wolf has warned that Racing Genk will “play in an attacking manner and have fun” against Carlo Ancelotti’s struggling Napoli.

Genk are bottom of Group E and have nothing to play for, but Wolf made it clear his side would enjoy their trip to the San Paolo, even if Napoli need a win to reach the Champions League last 16.

“We have to have fun, we will play in an attacking way, with courage,” the coach said at a press conference.

“We will have to be good in both halves of the field and we will try to win.

“Napoli are a team with great quality, they are strong in every area of the pitch, but this is the Champions League and we have to play the game of our lives.”

Gennaro Gattuso is reportedly set to replace Ancelotti, with CalcioNapoli24 reporting this evening the 60-year-old has already said his goodbyes to the squad…

“I know that right now Napoli are having a difficult time. Even against Udinese they were always on the attack but conceded a goal on the break. Tomorrow will be a big challenge.”

The Partenopei have been linked with Genk midfielder Sander Berge over the last couple of months, so how good is the Norweigan?

”He’s a strong player but also very young as he is only 21 years old. I hope he plays well tomorrow because we need him. He’s a good lad and a very good player.

“I hope he stays with us for a long time. Napoli are also a good team, but I’m not the one who signs players for them.”
