Inter forward Alexis Sánchez is edging closer to joining Marseille, according to reports in Italy.

The Chile international has been with Nerazzurri since 2019 but reports in Italy suggest they have been trying to offload him this summer – even considering terminating his contract.

Sánchez was left out of the recent friendly against Monaco as Inter explored terminating his contract but recent reports suggested he was holding out for €4 million which was affecting Inter’s transfer plans.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report he is in talks with Ligue 1 side over a move.

The report suggest talks have been ongoing since his former Chile boss Jorge Sampaoli – who stepped down earlier this summer – was still in charge.

However, according to the report, Sánchez refused any talks as he was holding out for a move to former club Barcelona which never materialised.

The report adds that the 33-year-old’s salary demands at Marseille will be more reasonable due to the outgoing fee he will receive from Inter.

  1. The broke Chinese over lords will have to accept it and lose more money they don’t even have by allowing flop, Aztec forest gump leave. Looks like buck tooth rabbit Outzaghi will use bold eagle nobody, Micky mouse tarian, flop donkey Lukaka & 2mp pensioner looking for his walking street Dzeko up front for broke inter.

  2. The Saudis are goingbto take Inter over shortly so this does not matter one way or another $$$$$ or should that be SAR.. .
