La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Tijjani Reijnders is so keen to join Milan that he has rejected an offer from Barcelona.

The Dutch midfielder has already agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri and is waiting for an agreement between the Serie A giants and his club AZ Alkmaar.

The 24-year-old is said to have agreed on a €1.7m-a-year deal, but Milan’s first offer for AZ, of circa €16m plus add-ons has been rejected.

According to Wednesday’s printed edition of Gazzetta (page 6), their asking price is €25m, but the Rossoneri hope to finalise the deal for circa €20m including add-ons.

Reijnders would become the second central midfielder joining the Rossoneri this summer after the departure of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle and the purchase of Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea.

Milan directors want to finalise the deal in the coming days so that Reijnders can join the team from next week when Stefano Pioli’s men will start the pre-season.

  1. Hhahahahahahahahahaha, Barcelona is sure going for him. They didn’t have the 18M for Brozovic. Fake news.
