La Gazzetta dello Sport analyses Milan‘s ‘recurrent errors’ after a 4-2 loss against Monza and reports that winning the Europa League is Stefano Pioli’s ‘only chance’ to remain at San Siro beyond the summer.

The Rossoneri missed a chance to overtake second-placed Juventus on Sunday, losing 4-2 against Monza at the U-Power Stadium.

La Gazzetta dello Sport analysed Milan’s ‘recurrent errors’ on Tuesday, highlighting that the Rossoneri have been too weak defensively this season and that squad rotations often don’t work.

Milan have conceded 24 goals away from home this season, as many as last-placed Salernitana.

Stefano Pioli has taken responsibility for the team’s inconsistent results this season but despite the trust shown by owner Gerry Cardinale, President Paolo Scaroni, and CEO Giorgio Furlani, Gazzetta reports that Pioli has only one chance to save his job, which is to win the Europa League.

Nevertheless, the Rossoneri must keep a high bar in Serie A as well, given that Atalanta, their next opponents in the league, and Bologna, are just seven points below in the table and La Dea even have a game in hand,
