La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Juventus have an agreement in place with Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi, although an official arrangement between the two clubs has not yet been reached.

According to the pink paper, Juve are prepared to offer the 29-year-old a four-year contract in order to lure him away from the Mapei Stadium.

Berardi and his team are believed to be pushing for a move to the Allianz Stadium and are now waiting for Cristiano Giuntoli to make an official approach to Sassuolo.

Almost exactly a year ago, Berardi penned a new deal with Sassuolo until the summer of 2027, which came with a significant pay rise from around €1.8m annually to somewhere in the region of €3m per season.

Berardi is valued between €25m-€30m, and it is believed that Juventus will push for an initial loan deal with an option or possible obligation to buy.

In order to lower the cost of the operation, Juventus are also hoping to include one of their youngsters moving in the other direction.

Samuel Iling-Junior and Matias Soule have been suggested as players who could be set to switch allegiances, although the Englishman is said to be more appealing to Sassuolo.
