Davide Frattesi has decided to accept a move to Inter and the club are now working on finalising a deal with Sassuolo, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports.

The 23-year-old Italian midfielder is one of the hottest topics of this summer’s transfer window, finally ready to move on from Reggio-Emilia following his impressive development.

Frattesi attracted serious interest from both Roma and Juventus, dating back to last summer, but Inter emerged recently to try and beat out the competition.

La Gazzetta dello Sport via TMW details how Frattesi has chosen Inter, who are now setting up a deal with Sassuolo. The formula is expected to be a loan deal with a €35m obligation to buy clause attached, and talented youngster Samuele Mulattieri will also be included in the agreement.

Before things can be completed, the Nerazzurri need to lighten up their squad and wage bill a little. A move to Lombardy is now looking increasingly likely for the 23-year-old midfielder.
