Former Milan and Italy midfielder Gennaro Gattuso believes that Milan fans can only have gratitude to the Berlusconi family after rumours the club may be sold.
Silvio Berlusconi’s representatives arereportedly set to meet with Chinese businessmen over the coming weeks about a potential sale of the Rossoneri.
Gattuso told Tele Radio Stereo that supporters of the club can only be grateful to Berlusconi for the success the club has seen during his tenure.

Gattuso told Tele Radio Stereo that supporters of the club can only be grateful to Berlusconi for the success the club has seen during his tenure.
“I’m a Milan fan and I know that you can only say thank you to the Berlusconi family for twenty five years of successes and victories,” he said.
“There can be moments of difficulty but it’s not an ordeal. Openness is fundamental and for Milan to get back to their best there must always be openness.”
Gattuso also became the latest high-profile figure to give his backing to former team-mate Pippo Inzaghi, whose position as Coach of the club has been put under intense scrutiny.
“It isn’t easy to have to prove yourself straight away as he already must in only his first year, but he has the quality and the temperament to get through this,” said Gattuso.
