Gennaro Gattuso will implement a 4-3-3 formation as new Napoli coach, according to reports.
He has arrived at the Castel Volturno training ground and will hold his presentation press conference today at 17.00 GMT.
Gattuso will replace Carlo Ancelotti as the Partenopei’s new coach, and is set to make tactical changes straight away.
Ancelotti favoured a 4-4-2, the first time he’s gone back to that system since his days in charge of Parma in the late 1990s.

It was a radical departure from the three years of Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system that won plaudits across Europe.
Now La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio report that Gattuso will return to a 4-3-3 formation.
Gattuso implemented the same system whilst in charge of Milan, and reportedly believes it is the ideal formation to get the best out of the current batch of Napoli players.
La Gazzetta states that Allan will play a major part in the reshuffle, and Eljif Elmas will gain more playing time under Gattuso, as the left midfielder in the three-man midfield.
Hirving Lozano and Piotr Zielinski will flank Arkadiusz Milik in attack.
Interestingly, there’s no space for Lorenzo Insigne in the starting XI, with the captain potentially to be sold next summer.
Ancelotti had reportedly wanted to sell Insigne last summer for Mauro Icardi, only for the deal to fail to materialise.
