Gennaro Gattuso says he can imagine a Milan future with Coach Vincenzo Montella and striker Mario Balotelli.
The current Fiorentina boss is one of a number of names being mentioned as a possible successor to Massimiliano Allegri at the end of the season.
“I like Montella a lot,” the Sion man, who left the Diavolo in the summer, told Sky Sport Italia on Wednesday.
“He has a clean face, an innovative mentality and his sides play some very nice football. Yes, he could be a Milan man.”
Another individual who continues to be paired with Milan is Manchester City’s Balotelli, despite the fact that he was labelled as a “bad apple” by owner Silvio Berlusconi this week.
“Balotelli could be a player worthy of Milan too,” the midfielder continued. “He and his agent have done well not to respond [to Berlusconi].
“I’m convinced that when things are in place for a transfer to occur then a deal can be done.
“Saying that, Mario, in relation to his altercation with City boss Roberto Mancini, needs to keep his instinctiveness at bay.”
