Milan icon Gennaro Gattuso reveals he 'would like' to coach his former team, but says he has 'a long way to go'.

After Clarence Seedorf, who headed the Rossoneri from January to June 2014, and current Coach Filippo Inzaghi, it seems another former player from Milan's golden years could shoot for the team's bench.

In an interview with Raisport1, Gattuso reminisced on his years at Milan and discussed a possible return.

“I left the team because the time had come for that, but Milan are still in my heart,” said Ringhio.

“I played for 14 years and I felt like the President and the Coach.

“One day I hope to get to that position, but I've a long way to go.

“Milan have to start again from their men. The Berlusconi family sacrificed a lot for the team over the last 25 years and won many victories.

“It's understandable that there should be a moment of darkness.”
