He made his return for only a couple of minutes in injury time during Saturday’s 2-0 win at Parma.
“It was the end of a nightmare that lasted six months. It’s all over now,” Gattuso told Radio Deejay.
“For four months we worked to treat a condition that then proved to be something else entirely. Now with all the cortisone they’ve been giving me, I’ve been pumped up like a boxer!”
Gattuso had been ready to make a comeback a couple of weeks ago, but it had to be postponed because the dosage of cortisone he had been prescribed was too high for anti-doping tests.
Meanwhile, there is more good news for the Rossoneri, as Clarence Seedorf, Alessandro Nesta and Kevin-Prince Boateng resumed training today.
