Gennaro Gattuso has been deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for insulting chants against ex-Inter Coach Leonardo.

The Milan midfielder was caught on camera joining in the chants with supporters during the Scudetto celebrations at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome last month.

The club made a formal apology to Leonardo, who fans accused of being a ‘Judas' for leaving the Rossoneri to join rivals Inter a few months later.

After the FIGC investigation, Gattuso has been deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for “offensive statements that were publicly aimed at Leonardo.”

Last week Leonardo quit his job at Inter to become a director at Paris Saint-Germain.
