New Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised Alberto Paloschi as “one of the best centre-forwards in Italy.”

Paloschi was signed this summer after just six months in the Premier League with Swansea City.

“I think the club chose an important player,” Gasp told TMW Radio.

“At this moment in time it’s difficult to find good strikers on the market, but Atalanta got one of the best centre-forwards in Italy.”

Does his arrival mean Mauricio Pinilla will be leaving Bergamo?

Does his arrival mean Mauricio Pinilla will be leaving Bergamo?

“We’ll see. Tonight he’ll be playing an important Copa America Final with Chile. I think Atalanta will try to be balanced, improve the squad and have a good season.

“This experience in Bergamo will be important for me, as I want to be with a club that intends to grow. I hope to bring my expertise to this project.”
