Genoa Coach Gianpiero Gasperini says his side’s performance against Juventus, despite the result, has brought confidence.
The Rossoblu missed a second half penalty against the Old Lady before conceding a late winner to Andrea Pirlo.
“The disappointment from the Juventus defeat is on our shoulders,” Gasperini admitted at a Press conference ahead of his side’s game with Parma tomorrow.
“We didn’t get any points but we put in a good performance that has brought confidence to the group.
“Against Parma we have a better chance to do well, so I expect a great response from the team.
“It’s a test of maturity to see if we can make the jump in quality needed.
“At this moment Parma are an example and a point of reference for us.
“They have done some great work and laid great foundations for the future.”
