Gian Piero Gasperini will take charge of his 300th game for Atalanta tomorrow: only Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Diego Simeone have more for their respective clubs.

Gasperini will become the coach with the most games in charge of La Dea, overtaking Emiliano Mondonico who remained in charge of Atalanta for 299 games between 1994 and 1998.

The Nerazzurri will visit Udinese at the Dacia Arena at 14.00 UK time tomorrow, in a match between two of the best teams in Italy at the moment.

Gasperini was appointed in 2016 and Atalanta have become one of the most spectacular Serie A clubs since.

As highlighted by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, only three coaches in Europe currently have more games in charge of their clubs: Guardiola at Manchester City (363), Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool (339) and Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid (326).

Atalanta qualified for the Champions League for three years in a row under the Italian tactician who will take charge of his 300th game for La Dea tomorrow. Last season, it was the first time in five years they failed to qualify for Europe.

Atalanta are still unbeaten in Serie A this season and share the top spot with Napoli.
