The result leaves Gasperini’s side in 17th place and only one point above the relegation zone, but Gazzetta dello Sport reports today that the Coach’s position is still secure.

The newspaper believes that Gasp will remain in charge at the Marassi club irrespective of the result against Atalanta on Sunday as the club continue to show faith in him.

The former Inter and Palermo boss returned for his second spell at the Rossoblu in 2013 and led them to a surprise sixth-place finish last season.
