“It also means there are no easy fixtures, especially not against a Bologna side that has surprised some big teams lately. Our last two victories have given us more confidence and there has been a general improvement from everyone in the team.

“At the same time, we mustn’t get exhilarated by a couple of good results, just as we weren’t torn down by a few negative games. Every game is in the balance.

“Bologna haven’t changed all that much since last season, but did absorb the spirit of their Coach Pippo Inzaghi, someone I respect a great deal.

“We go there eager to do well, but also aware of the dangers this game holds for us.”
