Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini wants his side to use the defeat to Sampdoria as motivation for the Europa League.
The Orobici lost in Serie A at the weekend, and now face their third group stage match against Apollon Limassol.
“It’s a mini-league with six games,” Gasperini told Sky.
“It’s a lot more concentrated, the margin for error is minimal. The first two results were good, but we have to do the rest, and the rest starts tomorrow night.

“As for Sampdoria, we’ve said so many times that when we win a game we have to forget it and move on quickly.
“We have to take what we did well against Samp and restart from that, tomorrow is another competition but it’s just as important.
“At certain points we’ve played even better than last season, but we have to try and improve everything so we can be competitive on all fronts.
“Our fixture list hasn’t been the easiest, but we have to continue on our path and play our football.”
