Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini said he wouldn’t have done anything different against Inter, despite leaving San Siro empty handed.

La Dea pushed for the equaliser, as Milan Skriniar scored the only goal of the match after 54 minutes and helped Inter to a 1-0 win, re-establishing a six-point gap at the top.

But Gasperini said he wouldn’t have changed his approach after a solid display against the League leaders, even if his team were narrowly beaten 1-0 on Monday night.

“If I would replay it like this 100 more times? I would say yes,” Gasperini told Sky Sport Italia after the match.

“We had a good game, both in the first and the second half.

“We lost on a corner kick, a bit confused. We lost because of one episode.”
