Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho posted a picture of him wearing a Paulo Dybala Argentina shirt in 2016, and eight years later, he assisted the Roma star in an international fixture.
Dybala’s goal against Chile in the World Cup qualifiers on Thursday was a full-circle moment for Manchester United winger Garnacho.
In fact, the 20-year-old Manchester United winger idolized Dybala as a kid.
Back in 2016, Garnacho even posted a picture of him wearing a Dybala shirt on social media. Perhaps he could not even imagine that he would assist his compatriot on the pitch one day.
Garnacho comes full circle with Dybala’s goal for Argentina
Both players were introduced at minute 79 against Chile last night. It was a wise move from Lionel Scaloni as Garnacho and Dybala were involved in Argentina’s third goal a few minutes later.
Dybala wore the iconic No. 10 shirt that usually belongs to Leo Messi, but the Inter Miami star is out of action due to an injury.
Dybala has played for Palermo, Juventus and Roma in Serie A, scoring 123 goals in 327 appearances in Italy’s top flight.
In 2016, Garnacho posed with a Dybala shirt. Today, he assisted him. Dreams come true 😍💭
