Roma Coach Rudi Garcia admits that tomorrow’s clash with Napoli is important, but warns ‘the season doesn’t end here’.

The Giallorossi have been on a poor run of form which has seen them fall 14 points behind Juventus in the race for the Scudetto, but the former Lille man insists there’s still a lot to play for.

“We can always do more,” Garcia admitted in his pre-match Press conference.

“The fact that we’ve had so many draws in the first three months of 2015 and are still second shows what a good first half of the season we had, but we’ll discuss that at the end of the season.

“There’s no use talking about last year, it’s not the same team. The Roma of 2014-15 has had some great achievements which we can look back on.

“Even though we’re fully focused on this race, the season doesn’t end here. We have to try and take the maximum from the 30 points which are still left to play for.

“We’re second in the table, so we’re happy. We have 10 matches to try to qualify for the Champions League, and three points tomorrow would help us.

“There will be two good teams, two good sets of players and a great referee. I hope it’s a party, a good game.

“That includes in the stands and outside the stadium, and then we hope to see a great game.”

One player who will not feature if Francesco Totti, with Garcia unwilling to risk his captain who is struggling with injury.

“I haven’t called him up, I won’t risk him. I’d prefer him to look after himself well, there are still nine games [after Napoli] we’ll need him.

“We won’t have il Capitano and Gervinho, but I have other options. It’s no good looking at who is on the treatment table, we must put the best team out there to try and win the game which is our only goal.”
