Coach Rudi Garcia admits Roma are 'slow' on the transfer market, whilst looking forward to playing Real Madrid.

The Giallorossi will be disputing a friendly against Los Blancos in Melbourne tomorrow, and the Coach stressed in the Press conference that his team is not jet-lagged at all.

“They're in a good condition,” he said. “We can see that in the general atmosphere, on the pitch and off it.

“They're an intelligent group, they know when to work and when to joke.

“They're in a good condition,” he said. “We can see that in the general atmosphere, on the pitch and off it.

“They're an intelligent group, they know when to work and when to joke.

“We only had to adapt to the temperature and the time-zone. It's funny hearing our Roman friends from here.

“The group is feeling good and is living the good life.”

The Frenchman then went on to discuss the transfer market.

“Our project continues, [sporting director Walter] Sabatini's work goes ahead.

“Everything is clear, we've all made our statements as to what we need.

“Things are proceeding very slowly but we have to be certain about the quality of the players.

“The transfer market closes at the end of August, we have plenty of time and I'm feeling serene.

“The match against Real Madrid? Last year we already confronted some great teams in the summer, it's a high level of preparation.

“But the teams we'll be up against have had a shorter time to prepare themselves.”
