Rudi Garcia says the “unity and cohesion” he’s seen from his Roma players is a “positive sign” going forward.

The Giallorossi have not won in three games, and with their last two outings a 6-1 defeat to Barcelona and a home loss to Atalanta.

Rudi Garcia says the “unity and cohesion” he’s seen from his Roma players is a “positive sign” going forward.

The Giallorossi have not won in three games, and with their last two outings a 6-1 defeat to Barcelona and a home loss to Atalanta.

“We’ll go out working hard,” Garcia told journalists in his Press conference ahead of the trip to Torino.

“Just like we did on Sunday. We’ll do everything to get a positive result. We were in ritiro last night, the players decided to have dinner together on Wednesday. It’s a very positive sign.

“It shows unity, cohesion and the desire to fight together to achieve our goal.”

Former Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso has suggested that there is a bad culture at the club, and insisted Francesco Totti is “not a leader”, but Garcia rejects those claims.

“If there’s no culture of hard work then it’s difficult to finish second twice in a row. I’ve read some things about Totti and [Daniele] De Rossi. They’re champions.

“They aren’t world champions by coincidence. There is leadership.”
