Another former Serie A coach has been linked with the Everton bench, as Rudi Garcia could replace Carlo Ancelotti.

The Toffees are in search of a new tactician after Ancelotti walked away after barely six months in order to try again with Real Madrid.

According to L’Equipe, Garcia and his entourage consider Everton to be a ‘credible’ option.

Garcia is a former Roma coach, but spent this season at Olympique Lyonnais before leaving on poor terms with the club hierarchy.

Before that, he spent almost three full seasons at Olympique Marseille.

Another ex-Roma coach, Paulo Fonseca, is set to take the Tottenham Hotspur job next week.
